Uber is a global private hire company known best for its rideshare app that operates in 633 cities worldwide.
CHALLENGE. Uber’s entire business model revolves around the smartphone, so it was only natural that this global leader would seek out a partner who could help them deploy a mobile-first Business Conduct Guide.
SOLVE. Fully responsive, the Business Conduct Guide we created for Uber works just as well on a smartphone or tablet as it does on a desktop or laptop. The Guide also utilized extensive video content we created that featured top executives of the company. An upcoming phase of the project will involve adding a certification component so that employees can sign into the Guide and certify that they have read it and will abide by its contents.
RESULT. Since launch, Uber's mobile-first approach has seen high participation rates from employees. The compliance team has also been able to take advantage of the CMS functionality to make content updates quickly instead of relying on website development updates.
